FAQs

What exactly is Elderberry Syrup?

Elderberries have been used for centuries and are known as one of the top antiviral herbs on the planet! They have been clinically studied and have shown to shorten the duration of cold and flu symptoms.

Elderberry Syrup is a blend of organic berries, spices, herbs and raw local honey. It is a juice-like beverage, and tastes like a fruity treat! It can be taken by the spoonful once per day for immune support or every 3 hours when actively fighting something off.

What’s the difference between this syrup and the ones you find on the shelves in big box stores?

There are 3 big differences- ingredients, process and cost.

Ingredients- You’ll never find any artificial ingredients, dyes, flavors, thickeners or additives. We use only the highest quality USDA certified organic elderberries, spices and herbs. And opposed to glucose syrup, sugar, and other less than ideal sweeteners you may find in other brands, we use raw local honey. It provides just the right amount of natural sweetness and hosts a plethora of benefits!

We blend everything together using our tried and true recipe to make a tasty and functional syrup that the whole family will love!

Process- Our syrup is hand made in small batches, not mass produced in an assembly line. A lot of love, care and education has gone into every step of the process. There is a science behind cooking, straining and bottling the syrup to maximize the taste and benefits of each ingredient, and we’ve got it covered- every step of the way!

Cost- Not only are you supporting a small business when you buy Little Loves Organics, but you’re also getting an amazing deal! Our syrup is roughly half the cost per ounce as some of the mass produced store bought versions. You’re getting better quality AND cheaper prices! Win/Win!
